Tender Description
Loddon Shire Council is currently serviced by a network of three unlicensed landfills (and three Transfer Stations). Each of the three unlicensed landfills (Boort, Newbridge and Pyramid Hill) currently accept weekly Kerbside domestic waste generated within Council boundary, and ‘through the gate’ domestic general waste and recycling.
Council run and staff the day to day operation of the landfill and contracts out the earthworks maintenance task (cover and cell construction) annually. This contract specifies for the delivery of maintenance earthworks across the three landfill sites up to twice weekly, push in and cover waste material into existing cells on site, create new cells as per requirement and perform maintenance activities as requested by Council in achieving efficient site management.
This annual contract aligns with each financial calendar year, commencing on 1 July 2022 and concluding on the 30 June 2023.
