Tender Description
Council is seeking appropriately qualified contractors to provide various rock filled gabion and mattresses works required by Council for a period of twelve months (1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023) including the warranty of such works for a period of twelve months from the date of completion of the works.
The Tender will take the form of a Schedule of Rates for the following works:
• Design of Rock Filled Gabion and Mattresses Structures.
• Establishment to project site.
• Supply of Gabions and Mattresses.
• Supply, Haul and Install Rock Filling.
• Supply and Install Filter Fabric.
• Supply and Install Terramesh Panels.
• Excavation and Removal of Unsuitable for Gabions and Mattresses.
• Supply, Haul and Placement of backfill material.
• Traffic Control (where required)
The method of measurement and payment must comply with Annexure H of the tender documents.
Traffic control, will generally be undertaken by Council, but rates for provision of traffic control are to be submitted with the annual tender for projects where Council requires the contractor to provide their own traffic control.
