Tender Description
Ballina Shire Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to for front of house upgrades at the Ballina Resource Recovery Centre. The works comprises of a new shed structure over the existing weighbridges and office, an extension to the existing transfer station shed, entry roadway upgrades, staff areas and additional carparking. The scope also includes installation of a principal supplied weighbridge.
A non-mandatory tender has been scheduled on site at 9am AEST on Thursday 11 June 2026.
The site operates as Ballina's only active waste facility and MUST remain fully operational during the contract. The site also holds specific requirements associated with its use as a waste facility including the waste levy's which need to be managed as part of the contract.
