Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The buyer (the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications) is seeking to engage an experienced seller with the capability and specialist expertise to conduct an accessibility audit on a new Australian Government website (Accesshub, accesshub.gov.au) to ensure it complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA (or higher) and provide specialist accessibility services and advice throughout the website’s design, development and delivery phases to ensure that accessibility requirements and best practice is prioritised throughout project delivery.
The vendor will be responsible for:
1. Design evaluation.
2. Website audit against WCAG 2.1 AA and AAA.
3. WCAG conformance statement.
4. Provision of specialist accessibility advice and services throughout the project’s design, development and delivery phases, as needed.
5. Web writing services (conversion of content to Plain English/Easy Read).
6. Any other services which the Seller deems necessary and/or beneficial to enable the successful delivery of the project.
