The MDBA is preparing to undertake a major procurement to establish a new Managed Service Provider (MSP) arrangement for the delivery of critical ICT services. This procurement is strategically significant and will replace an existing service model, requiring a carefully designed approach to ensure continuity of operations, value for money, and alignment with current and future ICT needs.
The scope, complexity, and risk profile of an MSP procurement extends beyond standard procurement activities. The specialist will bring proven experience in ICT and MSP procurements, enabling them to design and lead a rigorous procurement process, identify and evaluate capable providers, and ensure the resulting contract achieves value for money while mitigating delivery, commercial, and operational risks.
