Summary
The Advanced Training Committee (ATC) in Cardiology seeks expressions of interest from Cardiology Fellows to be a South Australian Representative and Regional Representative.
Description
The ATC oversees Advanced Training in Cardiology. Responsibilities for the role include:
- advising on Cardiology training matters
- monitoring and reviewing training program requirements and curricula in consultation with relevant stakeholders and recommend changes
- accrediting Advanced Training sites and programs in Cardiology
- attending Committee meetings to discuss trainees and the training program
- significant experience in supervising Advanced Trainees in Cardiology in Australia
- reviewing Advanced Training Research Project submissions
The ATC appreciates Fellows time and dedication to trainees. Attending ATC meetings and marking assessments can be counted toward your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits.
The ATC holds face-to-face meetings in Sydney and at the CSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting, and 2 video conferences a year.
Members are appointed to the Committee for an initial 3-year term, with the option to renew a further term.
