The Medical Council is seeking NSW registered and currently practising medical college fellows who would like to play a role in supporting patient safety by becoming part-time hearing members
The NSW Medical Council is seeking NSW registered and currently practising medical college fellows who would like to play a role in supporting patient safety by becoming part-time hearing members. This would involve either sitting on a decision-making panel once a fortnight (principal hearing member) or once a month (regular hearing member).
They welcome applications from currently practising medical practitioners who have rural, regional and remote experience, and encourage applications from people with diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Demonstrated cultural competency and language skills, coupled with the ability to communicate, and build trust and rapport will be highly regarded.
