Tender Description
Wannon Water currently operates an existing Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Elliott St Warrnambool. The STP is about to undergo a separate construction project to expand & improve the existing STP by approximately 50%.
The proposed construction site location contains an abandoned rifle range. As such, the abandoned rifle butt & localised surrounds have been contaminated with heavy metals.
The Warrnambool Site Clearing and Contamination Remediation project is to:
_ clear & mulch coastal scrub vegetation to facilitate the project works
_ excavate, sort & removal of the contaminated soil around the localised area to appropriate licensed offsite facilities
_ demolish abandoned target building
