This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The department (DAWE) is developing an enterprise reusable risk assessment capability to enable data driven risk assessment to support its operations.
This work will require departmental information be captured in a data and analytics platform on Azure cloud to perform risk assessment using risk filters such as analytics. Results are then to be operationalised through DAWE systems or shared with other Government departments and DAWE partners.
The role is to guide the development of a suitable integration architecture to enable the data and analytics platform to be leveraged in the delivery of an enterprise risk assessment capability.
The role will be required to:
• work with Biosecurity Analytics Centre (BAC) and program teams to design and guide the delivery of a pipeline to operationalise models.
• Enable the development of feedback loops from business systems and operations into models to drive optimisation.
• Design scheduling and trigger mechanisms to invoke analytics
• Work with BAC and program teams to design analytics data stores.
This will require engagement with a range of department stakeholders and development of a range of architectural documentation to capture and communicate the resulting architecture for approval and implementation.
The role will work on the event, data streaming and API integration pathways for the Data & Analytics Platform. The specialist will be responsible for the design of API’s, events, an event handler for the Data & Analytics Platform, and a risk results repository.
The specialist will have worked as the lead for an architect team developing architectures for related systems in government. The specialist will work with cross program teams and provide mentoring as required, ensuring solution architectures are integrated appropriately within the programme and aligned with enterprise architecture.
The specialist will have had 10 or more years technical experience in IT, the specialist will have worked directly within IT architecture for a minimum of 2 years. The specialist will have produced relevant architectural artefacts such as; PoaP, conceptual, logical, physical architectures.
