Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) invite you to attend a briefing session ahead of a formal tender process for Medical Services.
The establishment of FRV as a state-wide Fire Rescue service in July 2020, with an increase of employees from approx. 2,000 to >4,500, has necessitated transformation in all facets of organisation service delivery including the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Department.
FRV require state wide comprehensive Medical Services for all employees (high risk operational and corporate) including:
- Medical Assessments (pre-employment, periodic and separation medicals)
- Occupational medicine and primary care,
- Pathology / Radiology,
- Psychological / mental health,
- Allied health services and
- Other ad-hoc occupational Health, Hygiene and Safety
Due to the tight timeframes of this project, we are providing advance notification, via a briefing session, to the market so that suppliers can ensure that they have capacity and resources to participate. The briefing session will take place on Thursday 10th March 2022. Should you wish to participate in the briefing session, please take the following actions:
- Fill out the document “FRV Medical Services – Supplier Briefing Attendee List” with the information of the individuals from your organisation who will attend the Supplier Briefing session
- Email FRV Medical Services – Supplier Briefing Attendee List to Vishram.pydiah@frv.vic.gov.au
Once received, you will be invited to a Microsoft Teams Meeting for Thursday 10th March 2022. Please provide the Attendee List no later than COB Monday 7th March 2022. We look forward to seeing you there.
Note: Attendance to the the briefing session is NOT a prerequisite for the future tender. It is at the suppliers discretion and risk whether they attend or not.
