Tender Description
Contractors wishing to be considered must be able to demonstrate their ability to:
• Supply completed (light, medium, and heavy) fabricated structural steel at a rate
of approximately 100 T/week.
• Supply walkways, platforms, and stairways in accordance with Australian
Standard AS1657.
• Fabricate in accordance with Australian standards AS4100, AS1554 and
AS5131
• Track individual items of steelwork / equipment using an electronic system.
•Manage and report on sub-supplier / sub-contractor performance.
• Receipt, Store and Dispatch goods.
• Track, control and implement document revisions.
• Control the supply of fabricated steel items ensuring "Just-in-time" delivery
principles are employed and aligned with the site works sequence. This may
include storage of completed steel at the contractor's yard. Contractors need to
have available yard space to ensure seamless delivery of required items.
