Tender Description
Nillumbik Shire Council currently has in place IT infrastructure at 8 Council facilities.
This tender is for the provision of replacement of end of life hardware located at 8 sites with updated products and technologies
The facilities are:
• Nillumbik Shire Council Office
• Operations Centre
• Edendale Farm
• Eltham Living and Learning
• Eltham Community and Reception Centre
• Panton Hill Living and Learning
• Diamond Creek Living and Learning
• Hurstbridge Hub
Council is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) 2021-103 for the provision of:
1. The provision and replacement of user switches with updated Aruba hardware.
2. The provision and replacement of switches with updated Aruba hardware.
3. The provision of Aruba hardware and services for the replacement of the existing wireless networks located at the Civic Drive Shire office, Operations
Centre, Eltham Community and Reception Centre and the Hurstbridge Community Hub.
4. The provision of Aruba hardware and services for the implementation of a wireless network at Council facilities including Edendale Farm, Eltham
Living and Learning, Panton Hill Living and Learning, Diamond Creek Living and Learning.
5. The provision of services to split our existing network architecture to have user network traffic separated from network server traffic.
6. The delivery of the project utilising project management framework and utilising internal adopted change procedures.
7. The provision of as built documentation and manuals of implemented technologies.
8. The provision of training and support targeting internal administrators of the solution.
It is intended that the new contract arrangement will commence on or around 28 April 2022 with an intended completion of the project by 31 August 2022.
