This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Release Manager will work within the Operations and Infrastructure Branch delivering for the Aged Care Division in Health’s IT Division. The program is responsible for application design, delivery and operation of the My Aged Care application platform.
Core components of the My Aged Care platform include Siebel CRM; Oracle Middleware; bespoke .Net web portals running on a mix of Windows and Linux OS as well as Oracle and MS SQL server databases. In addition to the My Aged Care core, the platform has integration to multiple shared services such as geospatial, data warehouse, email and 3rd party systems within Health, other Government Agencies and private service providers.
My Aged Care has an active program of functional enhancements to improve business processes as well as deliver on changes stemming from changed policy. The underpinning platform components also have their own upgrade lifecycles and operational maintenance schedules.
This results in a busy and complex change and release management landscape. The Release Manager function is key in optimising productivity for critical development and test cycle efforts while maintaining appropriate level of control and configuration management.
