The Wangaratta Aerodrome is a vital asset of the Rural City of Wangaratta servicing emergency services such as Air Ambulance, Police, Australian Defense Force, Firefighting, Charter and general aviation.
It has been identified that the restricted airside runway area at the Wangaratta Aerodrome is only adequate for livestock and inadequate to prevent wildlife prominent in our region such as kangaroo, deer and wild dogs.
Whilst this area is inspected regularly and monitored closely in accordance with the Wangaratta Aerodrome Operations and Information Manual in order to deter wildlife entering this restricted area, there are risks that these wildlife types may enter the area during nighttime hours.
A paramount focus of ensuring that safety measures are kept to a high standard and risks are kept to a minimum is a of the Rural City of Wangaratta being the owner and operator of the Wangaratta Aerodrome.
The Rural City of Wangaratta (Council) is seeking a professional fencing contractor to complete the works as specified in a safe, timely and professional manner.
Tenders will include the following:
• Itemised Pricing for the delivery of the Services; and
• detailed methodly statement on how the works will be completed
• detailed schedule or timeline
• demostrated capability and capacity to complete the works
