Council is seeking tenders for architectural and consultancy services for the development of a new Community Hub & Library as part of the Baw Baw Civic Precinct Stage 1.
The scope of works under this contract involves the review of the prepared and provided concept design documentation and its intent, development and approval of a preferred concept through a staged approach through schematic design, design development, tender ready documentation and detailed construction documentation, internal/external 3D models/flythroughs, internal/external renders, material specifications and provision of documentation at all design phases to enable accurate cost plans to be produced by council appointed Quantity Surveyor.
The services also include appointing all necessary support design consultancies to facilitate provision of the full scope of services including the project being registered and successfully attaining the highest Green Star rating possible within the budget constraints including all applications and management of the Green Star process. The supply of all necessary contract documentation, construction schedules to attain all necessary building permits and the required planning permit. All works are to be completed in accordance with the National Construction Code, relevant Australian Standards, appropriate facility guidelines and standards and universal access requirements.
