Tender Description
Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta Gippsland PHN seeks one or more providers to deliver Alcohol and Other Drugs Services in Gippsland from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023. Gippsland PHN is inviting tender submissions that address the following objectives:
- Reduce the impact of substance misuse on individuals, families, carers and communities;
- Improve access to Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services by Indigenous people, youth, older Australians and people with low socio-economic status;
- Support prevention and early intervention activities and promote evidence-based information about alcohol and other drugs through education;
- Generate Program data that assists the monitoring of evidence-based treatment; and
- Support linkages between drug and alcohol treatment services and mental health services, as well as with social, educational and vocational long-term support services.
Gippsland PHN is also looking for tenders that:
- Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of alcohol and other drug treatment services
- Improve access to and integration of services to ensure people with substance use problems receive the right care and support in the right place at the right time; and
- Complement existing services and improve regional coordination, sector efficiency and avoid the duplication of existing initiatives.
Gippsland PHN's indicative budget for the total of this procurement, including all related expenditure, is approximately $120,000 (ex. GST). Tenderers may bid for a component of this budget that is in proportion with the geographic spread of service delivery offered in the submission. The total procurement budget is designed to maximise service delivery across Gippsland as a whole and value for money, taking into account price, non-price and risk considerations, is a key requirement of this procurement.
