Tender Description
The Austin Health Ophthalmology Unit runs a busy surgical service, performing up to 900 surgical cases a year. Almost all ophthalmic surgery is performed in The Surgical Centre at the HRH Campus. The Ophthalmology Unit is looking to replace the current microscope in TSC with one that will include new technology and features for excellent visualisation as well as safe and efficient surgery of the anterior segment, with the ability to incorporate visualisation and surgery of the posterior segment in the future.
Austin Health is pleased to invite you to respond to this PQQ, as part of Austin Health Tender AHCM 234 09 OM. Austin Health is seeking a supplier who can provide;
• Ophthalmic Microscope
The aim of the questionnaire is to:
• Identify and pre-qualify suppliers in the market that can provide this type of equipment
• Identify a supplier who has demonstrable experience in the Health Sector
• Qualify Equipment from an Infection Control perspective
Following the evaluation of the PQQ submissions, suppliers will be notified if are compliant with Austin Health Infection Control and Infrastructure. Suppliers will then be invited to respond to a Request for Quote (RFQ) process. The date for release of the RFQ has not been decided as yet.
