Tender Description
As of the 1 July 2020, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) was formed, bringing together both MFB and CFA career firefighters to serve metropolitan Melbourne, outer urban areas and larger regional centres across Victoria.
FRV has a project to minimise/eliminate health risks assciated with Diesl Particulate Matters (DPMs) emmenating from Fire Fighting Appliances.
FRV are seeking to establish a duly qualified, credentialled and experienced panel to provide installation of PLYMOVENT mechanical fumes source capture extraction systems to vehicle engine bays within metropolitan and regional Victoria where FRV Fire Stations and nominated Support Offices are located.
Scope of Services to include:
- Undertaking site surveys and existing conditions assessment for the purpose of determining installation processes, methodology and costs (quotation) for given sites within the FRV network or specified Plymovent Source Capture Extraction Systems.
- Installation of PLYMOVENT Source Capture Emissions extraction Systems to nominated engine bays within Fire Station Motor Rooms
*Vertical Stack Rail (VSR)
*Mini Profile Rail (MRP)
- Integration of DESCS to site installed Siemens BMS and Controls, including testing of BMS Integration once programming works have been completed by SIEMENS. The testing is to be undertaken in conjunction with and in the presence of nominated representatives from:
*SIEMENS
*AIP (successful member)
*FRV DESCSP Project Manager
*FRV – other personnel as nominated
- All equipment/components to be ordered from Fantech Pty Ltd in accordance with FRV agreed parts/components schedules
- Installation to be in accordance with
*Manufacturer’s Manuals/Guidelines and other Installation information & specification
*FRV Design Guide information (either generic or site specific as required)
*Relevant Australian standards, Guides, Codes that may apply to required installations
*FRV Policies and codes as relevant to undertaking building, installation works on FRV properties, including but not limited to
- Health & Safety
- Contractor’s Code of Practice and Conduct
