Mitchell Shire Council (MSC) requests quotation submissions for rectification works to be undertaken on Smedleys Lane Bridge. Council is seeking a cost-efficient solution for the Works.
Adjacent to 95 Smedleys Lane, Clonbinane is a single-span, single-lane road bridge over Sunday Creek. The bridge has a Load Limit of 15 tonne. The bridge is in a condition that requires renewal works to be undertaken to ensure that it can provide a level of service so that a fire tanker can safely cross it. The completion of the rectification works set out in this Contract are expected to extend the useful life of the bridge for about another 25-40 years with the 15-tonne load limit in place.
