Tender Description
South Gippsland Water (SGW) invites tender to renew inlet and outlet pipework from the Wonthaggi Water Tower, located at 49 Watt Street.
The scope of works involves construction of approximately 460m of PE100 PN16 pipe and 20m of Schedule 10 Stainless Steel Pipe, including:
- Construction of inlet pipework, including an above ground stainless steel arrangement to connect to the existing DN300 steel stub at the tank inlet.
- Construction of outlet pipework, including an above ground stainless steel arrangement to connect to the existing DN300 steel stub at the tank outlet.
- Construction of parallel pipes via trenchless method from the Wonthaggi Tower site to McKenzie Street and connection to existing watermains.
A mandatory site meeting and inspection will commence at 9:00am on Wednesday 20th October 2021 at the SGW Wonthaggi Water Tower site, located at 49 Watt street, Wonthaggi. Contractors are required to register their intention to attend with project Engineer Chris Edwards (contact information below) with at least 48 hours notice and provide evidence of vaccination.
