Vocational Rehabilitation Services Panel

⁠⁠⁠The TAC is establishing a Vocational Service Panel which will work with TAC Clients with a range of needs at varying levels of complexity. Injuries include, but is not limited to, one or more of the following:

• Soft tissue injury
• Multiple orthopaedic injury
• Psychological injury
• Post-traumatic stress disorder
• Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
• Amputation
• Spinal injury including Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)

Vocational Services are delivered within an outcome-based model, with continual review of the TAC Client’s progress and re-evaluation of their vocational goals. This requires clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.

The successful Supplier/s will be committed to:

• Providing face-to-face service delivery, including meeting regularly with TAC Clients, employers and treaters;
• Empowering and enabling TAC Clients to be actively involved in and to take responsibility for their Return to Work (RTW) program and show evidence of this, i.e. job diaries, job applications;
• Promoting choice and control in all interactions with TAC Clients;
• Brokering agreement between all stakeholders before commencement of a TAC Client’s RTW program
• Delivering tailored Vocational Services in accordance with the Services Agreement;
• Working in partnership with the TAC, the TAC Client, their treating therapists and where applicable the Employer;
• Using a service delivery model of vocational rehabilitation aimed at achieving an early, effective and sustainable Work Outcome for TAC Clients;
• Delivering effective and efficient Vocational Services that have a TAC Client-centred approach which supports individual TAC Client goals and TAC Client outcomes;
• Recognising holistically what a client needs to support work readiness;
• Continuous service quality improvement; and
• Meeting all performance obligations under the Services Agreement.
