Defence Housing Australia (DHA) is undertaking a significant Technology Refresh program with a focus on ensuring fit for purpose technology and enterprise-level integration, workflow and reporting across all business areas.
This role reports to the Director, Technology Refresh Program within Business Solutions and Technology (BS&T). BS&T are responsible for all software related business analysis, business solutions, in-house software development, telephony, IT Services and Infrastructure.
Due to the size of DHA, the position provides a unique opportunity for dedicated individuals that desire to work across a large spectrum of modern technology, platforms and business processes. The role works collaboratively alongside business sponsors, IT professionals, external stakeholders, subject matter experts and within interrelated programs of work to deliver multi-cloud and on-premise IT and business outcomes for DHA.
Main duties:
• Actively manage multi-disciplinary teams that include business SME’s, change and communications staff, analysts and IT professionals.
• Drive and focus project activities and outputs towards business outcomes and organisational objectives.
• Monitor and manage project risks and issues and report to the Director, where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain the project’s artefacts, including monthly project reports and Senior Executive summaries.
• Working alongside system integrations and technology companies to provide IT solutions that are fit for purpose and enhance business processes and reporting requirements.
• Providing a conduit between DHA’s business areas and the software development team.
This position will be located at DHA's Head Office in Canberra. No remote working conditions will be accepted by sellers except in circumstances where COVID-19 restrictions are put in place.
