ICT Project Manager

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment requires a Project Manager with Scrum Master experience, to deliver upcoming and inflight ICT Projects and initiatives within the Information Services Division. The role will be responsible for delivering a few projects and may be asked to support additional projects if capacity allows.
Candidates will be expected to meet the following criteria:

• Proven experience in the successful management and delivery of technology related projects, with the ability to adapt to, and work across agile and waterfall methodologies;
• Proven experience in managing large corporate ICT transformation programs.
• Experience in executing the role of a Scrum Master.
• Experience in managing highly technical teams and partnering with multiple vendors to achieve a combine outcome.
• Proven experience in delivering high risk outcomes under tight timeframes

• Able to prepare reports, artefacts and documentation for Project Boards, Senior Executives, or other Governance bodies, with a focus on ‘no surprises’ program and project management.
• Strong organisational and communication skills to present information and communicate expectations in an environment with competing requirements/workloads;
• Work with internal and external stakeholders and partners, including senior executives, to plan and manage programs and projects with a focus on successful delivery to meet scope, schedule and budget requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the relevant governance arrangements associated with ICT projects in the department.
• Demonstrates personal resilience and flexibility to deal with ambiguity, conflicting priorities and a challenging environment.
• Ability to work under pressure with close attention to detail, organise priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision;
• Experience working in Federal Government agencies, tertiary project management qualifications and certifications will be highly regarded.
