Tender Description
The AFPHM NSW Committee seeks expressions of interest from Fellows to join as a Committee member.
The AFPHM NSW Committee advises the Council about the regional Faculty issues and encourages collegiality in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Attend AFPHM Regional Committee meetings.
- Assist in developing, coordinating, implementing and monitoring the activity of the AFPHM Regional Committee’s work plan, and ensuring it aligns with the AFPHM Council work plan.
- Assist the Chair, AFPHM Regional Committee, in the development of the AFPHM Council work plan when requested and assist in aligning this to the Strategic Plan of the College.
- Assist the Chair, AFPHM Regional Committee in identifying and responding to new and emerging issues in the regions relevant to AFPHM as they arise.
- Ensure timely responses to requests for comment or report from the AFPHM Council; Faculty Training Committee and other AFPHM Committees.
- Ensure that the Regional Committee works productively with the AFPHM Council, Faculty Training Committee and other AFPHM Committees.
- Adhere to the RACP’s policies relating to roles and responsibilities, prevention of discrimination and harassment, code of conduct and conflict of interest.
