Tender Description
Scope of work:
The scope of works comprises the following tasks for reclaimer RC13 at Cape Lambert:
- installation of one new bucket wheel assembly (comprising of shaft, bearings, one new ring chute and 13 buckets)
- new BW discharge chute
- new BW drive torque arm & installation of 17T of additional counterweight
The works are to be completed on site in the designated maintenance bay area during a WK47 shut down in 2021. Rio Tinto reserves the right to adjust this start date to suit business requirements.
The work shall be conducted in a shutdown period of 264 hours (excluding mobilisation, wet commissioning and demobilisation).
A detailed scope will be provided to suppliers who demonstrate capability and experience in the required scope and are selected to tender.
