This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) is Australia’s national criminal intelligence agency. We advise senior decision makers on serious and organised crime impacting Australia. We are a full member of the National Intelligence Community, a Department of Home Affairs portfolio agency, and a member of the Five Eyes Law Enforcement Group.
The ACIC is seeking Business Analyst’s for an initial 12 month term with potential 2 x 6 months extension option.
The Business Analyst role is responsible for the development and review of business requirements, business cases, use cases and user scenarios relating to the development of improved ACIC and national policing information capabilities and for assisting in the business analysis required to develop business architecture and capability blueprints. The Business Analyst will methodically investigate, analyse, gather and review existing and new business requirements to meet client and stakeholder objectives. The occupant of this position will research and analyse specific information services and solutions relating to the needs of the ACIC and partner agencies and make recommendations for proposed capabilities.
Specifically these roles would be involved in the Examination Modernisation Project and the shaping of new and improved solutions for this capability. These roles may also be used in other projects as required.
You must, in supplying deliverables, comply with, and ensure your personnel:
• Hold and maintain an Australian Government security clearance to the minimum of Negative Vetting Level 1. The cost of obtaining each security clearance and other related costs including the cost for revalidating the security clearance will be borne by the Seller. The Seller must ensure that its Specified Personnel promptly provide to the Buyer relevant details to assist with the security clearance process, and the Seller must notify the Buyer promptly in writing of any change in circumstances which is likely to affect the Buyer’s assessment of the Specified Personnel’s entitlement to hold a security clearance.
• comply with all Agency Policies which are available on request, and through the Agency intranet site. This includes policies which relate to drug and alcohol testing.
• undertake and pass a pre-employment screening process (Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA)) which includes a police check.
• comply with the requirements of the Continuing Organisational Suitability Assessment (COSA)
• As directed by the Agency, complete a Deed of Confidentiality or Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to commencement or comply with processes required to engage the Specified Personnel under section 48 of the Australian Crime Commission Act (2002). and
• undertake an induction program upon commencement.
• Undergo Agency training prior to commencing work if required: Work, Health and Safety training; and Security Awareness training
• Complete the work on the Agency Premises, or as otherwise directed by the Agency.
