Murray St, Rutherglen Concrete Footpath Construction

⁠⁠⁠Indigo Shire Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified, skilled and experienced contractors to construct approximately 268 lineal metres of concrete footpath on the northern side of Murray Street in Rutherglen. The Contractor will excavate and prepare the work site. The contractor will be required to include all detailed set-out, supply and set up of form work, pouring and finishing of the concrete path. Indigo Shire Council staff will undertake the tree and shrub removal of the disturbed area of nature strip.

The contractor shall be responsible for the preparation of the site, disposal of waste material, supply of all materials and works necessary to complete construction of approximately 268m lineal metres (approx) of 1.5m wide, 125mm thick, reinforced concrete footpath finished to SD205 and Local Government Infrastructure Design manual guidelines.

This includes but is not limited to: -

• Mark out of final design alignment and agreement on finished levels in conjunction with Councils Project Manager. Refer to documents layout plans and mark-ups for project location and general information.
• Provide, set-up and maintain all traffic management signage, in accordance with an approved plan, for the duration of the works, including sufficient provision for aftercare at the end of each shift.
• Supply and set up of all suitable safety fencing, para-webbing or flagging rope necessary to protect works area from pedestrians and vehicles inadvertently entering the worksite
