Position Purpose
• To conduct automation and testing capabilities across NDIA’s projects, provide mentoring to other teams when required
Key Responsibilities
• Design, plan, and execute software testing - including functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing
• Design, write, execute effective manual and automated test cases and create test data as needed
• Discover, reproduce, prioritize, retest, and clearly document software defects
• Actively participate with the team in software requirements, design, and code reviews to provide early and continuous quality feedback
• Provide training, coaching, mentoring to other teams/team members when required
• Providing high detail technical documentation
• Helping with DevOps
Key Deliverables
This role will work within the Applications Platforms Directorate, and will contribute to the delivery of:
• Work items placed into a product backlog
• Consumption layer materials, per specification
• Efficient code produced
Key Accountabilities
The Senior Test Automation Engineer is accountable for producing efficient, high-quality code/solutions/documentation for test tasks assigned to them by the Quality Assurance lead
