Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Yarriambiack Shire Council are seeking tenders for an ICT Managed Service Provider (MSP) as follows:

To source a MSP that offers best value for money, delivering stable and responsive ICT services to Council.
To ensure that Council’s technology environment remains aligned with contemporary technical and application architectures.
To provide a reliable and appropriately performing business environment supported by appropriate technology services.
In addition to maintaining the current as-is technology environment, Council wishes to source a MSP that can support the organisation as it swiftly transitions to a total cloud, as a service architecture pattern and also supports Council to implement its ICT and Business Transformation Strategy.

Council has line of business applications as well as other third-party providers that the successful MSP must be able to successfully collaborate with in order to deliver services to all YSC stakeholders.

Requirements expected from the MSP include:

  • Provision, management and operation of a Service Desk for Council end-users
  • On-site support (two days per week)
  • Email filtering
  • Messaging Service Maintenance
  • Anti-virus Solutions
  • Server & Network Monitoring and Maintenance
  • Data Back-up and Recovery
  • Power BI Reporting and support
  • Planning activities related to future service delivery or infrastructure changes
  • Providing advice on the acquisition and integration of new software products and upgrades of current software, or transition to as-a-service options
  • Creation and maintenance of configuration documentation for the IT infrastructure including details of all hardware, applications and their locations
  • Co-ordination of all changes with respect to ICT systems
  • The MSP is required to co-ordinate all technical operations activities relating to IT infrastructure
  • Software License Management
  • Requirement to analyse, co-ordinate and resolve problems in the ICT infrastructure
  • Assist Council to develop an ICT Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Plan, including annual updates/major revisions.

Contract term is two years with further option of 3 x 1 year/s thereafter.
