The objective of this contract is to ensure that the Dandenong Market and surrounding streets and carparks are clean, presentable and safe at all times.

The Service Provider is to provide both general cleaning and waste management services to industry best practice. The Service Provider is also required to manage and recycle the various waste streams as specified and whenever the opportunity exists.

This is a full service, fixed price contract.

The Service Provider is required to provide all the equipment and plant required to deliver the specifications. This includes:

- Cleaning equipment – brooms, mops, buckets, etc;

- Bins and hoppers;

- Cages and trolleys;

- Mechanical cleaning equipment such as sweepers and washers;

- Vehicles (including any trucks, forklift, tugs, scissor lift or booms for cleaning above 3.5 metres);

- Compactors, bailers, pressure washer and other plant; and

- Cleaning chemicals and consumables (including dispensers).

Closing Time and Date: Tenders close at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, 6 July 2021.

The Principal will not consider late tenders.

Principal not Bound to Accept Tender:

The Principal is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.

Non-Conforming Tenders:

The Principal reserves the right to accept or reject any Non-Conforming Tender.

Site Inspection:

A site inspection will be conducted on Wednesday 09 June 2021 at 10am. The inspection will leave from the Dandenong Market Management office located at 40 Cleeland Street, Dandenong. All tenderers are invited to attend.
