Tender Description
The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a STEM Garden & Shed at Glenmore State High School, located at Cnr Bruce Highway and Farm Street, Rockhampton North QLD 4701 (Central Queensland Region).
Scope of works includes, seating area with teaching wall, covered shade structure and shade sails, miscellaneous games and features, retaining wall and various ground covers. The position of the Garden is in the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by early August 2021.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1 million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
