Tender Description
Council is inviting offers for the construction of the Richmond Street Outdoor Project (MV Ella Display) at the State Heritage Listed Maryborough Heritage Centre, 164 Richmond Street, Maryborough.
The MV Ella is an item owned by Council as part of its Museum Collection. It holds regional significance as the longest registered vessel in the Port of Maryborough, and it typical of small fishing vessels that operated on the Mary River. Council are now constructing a high quality permanent display for this vessel within the Portside Cultural Precinct.
The Heritage Centre holds one of the largest collections of genealogy records in Queensland and is home to the Maryborough District Family History Society and Maryborough Family Heritage Institute groups.
