Tender Description
Main fire station building component to accommodate:
- Drive through Motor room to house 3 No. firefighting appliances;
- Turnout Room (i.e. change room area(s);
- BA Maintenance & L’dry;
- Office spaces;
- Storage room;
- Kitchen area;
- Multi-purpose room, and
- Toilet/shower amenities.
External steel framed customised storage shed to accommodate:
- 2 No. support vehicles and equipment, and
- Workshop area.
External site works and other works consisting of:
- New concrete paved hardstand areas and carpark;
- Automated secure entry gate & boundary fencing as required;
- Rainwater tank(s);
- Septic tank and effluent field;
- Hose Drying Tower;
- Proposed new crossovers and visitor parking to the front of the site, and
- Landscaping.
Construction works is targeted to commence approximately July 2021 and to be completed approximately in December 2021
The works must comply with Occupational Health, Safety and Environment and Industrial Relations Management which are mandatory requirements. Applicable Government policies affecting the procurement include:
Directions and instructions for Public Construction Procurement;
Social Procurement Policy, and
Local jobs First Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct.
