Construction of Bridge Culvert (Dunmunkle Creek)
Project Description
The Contract involves the removal of existing culvert and construction of a new culvert structure over the Dunmunkle Creek aligning with Minyip Banyena Road.
Scope of Works
The works are to include, but not be limited to, the following tasks:
- Removal of exiting culverts from the site and construction of new culvert in accordance with the supplied drawings and standards.
- Installation of erosion and sedimentation control relevant to the work being carried out.
- Clean up and site restoration after the installation of culverts.
- The Contractor must provide all labour, plant and materials for the construction of culvert.
- The Contractor must provide traffic control in accordance with AS1742.3 and VicRoads specifications including aftercare. The Traffic Management Plan may include road closure information to the community and road users during the construction period.
- The Contractor is to provide Environmental Management Plan to protect waterway.
- The Contractor shall obtain permits from the relevant authorities where needed before construction works start.
- The Contractor is to provide preparation of road subgrade and bedding material in accordance with VicRoads specifications and relevant Australian Standards.
