Tender Description
The Council of the City of Ryde is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced tenderers for City of Ryde is seeking the quality services of a professional, reliable and cost-effective contractor to Lease the Kiosk within the Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre. Council expects the service provider to provide best practices, techniques and methodologies in order to best serve our customers during the term of the contract.
The contract is proposed to commence on 1st July 2021 for a period of five (5) years with an option to extend for a further two by two (2) year period by mutual agreement and subject to satisfactory performance. Total potential lease period 9 years.
The aquatic centre has averaged an annual attendance of approximately 730,000 visitors a year prior to Covid. The centre consists of 5 pool areas, steam room and Sauna and 2 multipurpose dry court areas. The centre is designed to be attractive to family groups and has a large swim school averaging @ 3500 students per week. The centre hosts a varied array of user groups that hire parts of the centre for their activities. These include Squad coaching, Water polo, Futsal soccer, badminton and basketball just to name a few.

Site visit will be held by appointment only between 20-22 April 2021 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. All respondents are highly encouraged to attend the site visit.
Note that the lease plan included in Section D will be updated prior to execution of a lease by any successful respondent to comply with the requirements of the NSW Land Registry Services.
