The Application Programming Interface (API) Test Analyst is responsible for delivering quality testing activities and deliverables undertaken by the NDIA Test Team. This is part of the integrated end to end functional testing process within NDIA systems including Cloud Hosted Applications, Mobile Apps, APIs and CRM Portals for the NDIS.
Duties Include:
• Prepare Test Plans, test cases, test scripts and test execution including documenting test results and other test documentation.
• Undertake technical analysis of change to understand, prepare & execute manual testing for System Testing, SIT and UAT test phases.
• Identify, Design and develop automated tests and frameworks for API and Cloud Applications using in-house Automation tools.
• Plan, Design & Implement Test Automation across API implementations.
• Understand testing needs and ensure automated test scripts are created, maintained and executed to meet software release deliverables and project testing requirements.
• Ensure automated test scripts are created, maintained and executed to support integrated & regression testing.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test quality by undertaking reviews and recommending improvements.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
• Participate in the development and review of test cases to achieve quality outcomes.
Prepare relevant reports or documentation on outcome of all testing activities
