Project Management Services – Shared Trail Linkages
Indigo Shire Council is seeking Project Management Services to assist in delivering shared trail/footpaths by the end of the financial year. Council has been successful in obtaining additional funding to upgrade concrete footpath connections to the Beechworth to Yackandandah Rail Trail in Yackandandah township with tight delivery timeframes - 30 June 2021. Approvals, preliminary design and scope of works completed.
Services required include:
- Scope and design – finalise specification for tender documents.
- Oversight – survey and design of external consultants and internal Indigo Shire staff, contractors and subcontractors.
- Procurement – request for quote and tender preparation including schedule of works; tender evaluation and contract documentation;
- Construction Management/Superintendent – project planning and monitoring, progress reporting, meetings with the Rail Trail Project Manager/Capital Works Manager, budget control, contract and contractor management, any construction environmental management planning conditions and site supervision.
- Approvals – completed with minor heritage clarification required.
- Consultation – engaging and maintaining new and existing Council relationships with stakeholders and local residents that are already aware of the project and potential project works, however require communication through the delivery stage.
- Collaboration and reporting – engaging and directly reporting to the Rail Trail Project Manager.
