Bayside Council invites suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to submit a tender for the construction of roof and HVAC replacement works at the Rockdale Administration Building.
The Rockdale Council Administration Building is owned and occupied by Council and is connected to the adjacent Rockdale Town Hall & Library located at 444 Princes Highway Rockdale. The building comprises three-levels of office accommodation, a roof plant room and a basement carpark.
The Works include but is not limited to:
· Demolition and disposal of existing main sheet roof, associated flashings and capping, structure and redundant mechanical plant and ducting.
· Demolition and disposal of existing plasterboard ceilings and ceiling tile grids (retain tiles).
· New roof sheeting, flashings, guttering and capping.
· New roof access safety system, new plant room platform and new photovoltaics.
· Reline all existing concealed downpipes and maintain connection to existing stormwater system.
· New mechanical ventilation and associated works.
· New ceiling tile ceiling and new plasterboard ceilings as documented.
· Upgrades to fire detection systems and potential for upgrade to emergency lighting.
A pre-tender meeting will be held at 2 Bryant St on Monday, 15th of March 2021 at 8:00am. Attendance is mandatory.
