Tender Description
A site visit during the tender stage is scheduled for Tuesday 9th February 2021 at 10:30am at the Selwyn Neighbourhood House
Design Response:
Following works were expected to be completed at the end of the project period:
- Refurbishment of internal facilities to create multipurpose rooms and improve their functionality and comfort.
- Redesign and upgrade of the adult bathroom, reception desk and children services area to address issues of compliance.
- Creation of a formal external multipurpose area used as a social, gathering and waiting space particularly for foodbank clients.
- Urban design interventions to enhance the external appearance and connectivity between the House and the adjoining facilities.
- Improving functionality of the adult bathrooms, replacing the reception desk and proving shade in the outdoor play areas.
- Updating the children’s services area with improved storage, relocating the sandpit, installing a window for better indoor to outdoor sight lines and adding a new door.
- Replacing surplus outdoor play space with an alfresco seating area with direct access from near the kitchen.
