Cleaning of Council Buildings 2021-2024

⁠⁠⁠Port Augusta City Council invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of Cleaning of Council Buildings. The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.

A variety of services are required to ensure that the facilities are maintained in an efficient and coordinated manner.

In the event that during the evaluation process, it is decided by the panel, that in the best interest of Council to separate the services, a Contract for Services will be entered into with each of the successful Tenderers.

The Contract for Services will be for a term of 3 years plus 1 plus 1 year option to extend at the discretion of the Council.

Tenders are invited from commercial cleaning service providers accredited in safety, environmental and quality management systems for the supply of cleaning services for Council buildings as identified in this tender document.

1. The area(s) to be serviced with the tender being divided into 3 components,:

• OPTION 1 - Civic Centre, Library, Works Department, Port Augusta Cultural Centre, Institute Building and LG Riches Centre;
• OPTION 2 - Wadlata Outback Centre and Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden Visitors Centre and Nursery Compound;
• OPTION 3 – Central Oval Community Sporting Hub, Hancock Stadium, Lea Memorial Theatre and Port Augusta Childcare Centre;
• OPTION 4 – Window Cleaning – Wadlata Outback Centre, Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden Visitors Centre, Civic Centre, Library, Central Oval Community Sporting Hub, LG Riches Centre and Lawrie Wallis Aerodrome.

Tenderers can submit a quote for all or a component of the services being Option 1, 2, 3 or 4.

Council’s aims and objectives regarding the Services are as outlined in the Specification.

The current contract expires on the 28 February 2021 with the new contract/s to commence on 1 March 2021.
