WSROC / General Services for Council Buildings - Cleaning and Pest Control

⁠⁠⁠Blacktown City Council (BCC) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced person(s), firms or entities for (1) cleaning services and (2) pest control for council buildings. We welcome all companies who are interested in any part of this tender to submit their offers. Tenderer can choose to submit tender for any part or for the whole tender and shall indicate clearly the part(s) submitted in the returnable schedule.

Council will select companies with the proven ability to provide the services detailed in the scope of works. We may select a panel of contractors or a single contractor to provide these services. Council may also accept any tender in part or whole. The initial period of the Contract will be for 3 year with options in favour of Council for a further period of 2 x 1-year extensions subject to satisfactory performance, and Council requirements.

The works under this contract will generally include:

Part A Cleaning of Council Buildings:

The services under this part will generally include the cleaning of all of the listed Council buildings, in accordance with the conditions and specifications.

Buildings to be cleaned include:

• 24 Child Care Centres / Kids Early Learning Centres (ELC)
• 22 Community Centres, Neighbourhood Centres and Hubs
• Blacktown Sargents Centre
• Riverstone Seniors Centre
• Emerton Youth Centre
• 3 Libraries
• Oakhurst Depot

Cleaning will be required to be carried out on each of the days specified to the required standard set out in the Contract and to council’s satisfaction.

Part B Pest Control:

The services under this part include, but not limited to, the control and eradication of pests including spiders, crawling insects, rodents, bees, wasps, fleas, cockroaches, fruit flies, termites and birds occurring in both outdoor and indoor situations. This may include, but not limited to, the application of pesticides by spraying, puddling, gaseous fumigation and the use of baits, foams, gels, granules, powders or fogs.
