Tender Description
The Principal is seeking the service of a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to supply Traffic Surveys Services.
The requested services will include the collection of traffic data on roads within the City of Cockburn. These data form part of the Principals ongoing monitoring of road safety and performance elements throughout its road network.
The Principal is a Local Government Authority located about 24 kilometres south of Perth’s central business district.
The Principal performs its functions in accordance with the Local Government Act (WA) 1995 and among other statutory obligations under a wide range of state and federal legislation; the Principal has the responsibility for the orderly planning of the district under the Town Planning and Development Act (WA) 1928.
Suburbs administered by the Principal includes Atwell, Aubin Grove, Banjup, Beeliar, Bibra Lake, Cockburn Central, Coogee, Coolbellup, Hamilton Hill, Hammond Park, Henderson, Jandakot, Leeming (part), Munster, Lake Coogee, Treeby, North Lake, South Lake, Spearwood, Success, Wattleup and Yangebup.

The proposed Contract shall be in place for a principal period of three (3) years from the date of award; with Principal instigated options to extend the period for a subsequent twelve (12) month period and up to an additional twelve (12) months after that, to a maximum of five (5) years.
The Contract is expected to commence in late January 2021.
