Tender Description
Council is seeking to establish a new lease with an organisation to run Summer Hill Neighbourhood Centre and we want you to have input into the process. Your thoughts will assist with determining the service model and future functions of the centre.
Overview of the centre
The purpose built centre is located at 131 Smith Street within the grounds of Darrell Jackson Memorial Gardens. There are four flexible public spaces inside and currently it hosts education, health, art, fitness and other community activities.

What happens next
After the survey closes on 4 December 2020, staff will collate the input. This will be used, along with other research and information to develop an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a suitably qualified and experienced community-based tenant to operate the Neighbourhood Centre. The outcome of the EOI process will be reported back to Council for a decision. The engagement outcome report and updates on the project will be reported on this page.
