Tender Description
Central Highlands Water (CHW) is seeking submissions from suitably experienced and resourced contractors to appoint a service provider for the Provision of Ballarat East Sewer Outfall Project within the CHW service area.
CHW is committed to working with its customers and community to ensure a secure water supply and wastewater system for all.
As part of this commitment, CHW is planning to undertake a major infrastructure project commencing in autumn 2021, the Ballarat East and Ballarat South Sewer Duplication Project.
This project will upgrade Ballarat's existing major sewer line, enabling CHW to continue to provide safe collection of Ballarat East wastewater for another 100 years.
Approximately 1km of pipeline ranging from 900-600mm diameter will run through the CBD from Mair Street South (south side of the rail line) along Peel Street before connecting into the Ballarat South sewer system near White Flat Oval.
