Tender Description
Require an expert specialising in small and medium enterprise (SME) digital transformation to work with the Department to develop digital maturity model/s and associated content. This will inform the development of a Digital Readiness Assessment tool that will be used by SMEs and their advisers to assess the level of adoption and effective use of digital technologies (‘digital maturity’) in their business.
The work includes:
· Development of a digital maturity model to assess a business.
· Survey questions on their level of digital maturity. Include alternative Q&A pathways.
· Framework for rating and comparing data inputs and providing a ‘score’ of digital maturity.
· Recommended actions for SME’s to enhance their digital maturity, including links to existing government support programmes and market solutions.
· Proposals for novel methods for understanding the digital maturity of Australian businesses. E.g. web scraping technologies or social media analytics.
The specialist will work with the Department to bring together key stakeholders, NGO’s, and private sector expertise. The work does not include the technical build of the tool. This will take place separately but consideration of how the models and content can be digitised and how the end-user interacts with the content will be important.
