Tender Description
Quotes are invited from suitably experienced and qualified design contractors to undertake final designs and tender documentation for the expansion of the Swan Hill Leisure Centre Dry Fitness Zones. These works will enable Swan Hill Rural City Council to proceed to public tender for the Swan Hill Leisure Centre fitness room expansion Stage 1 construction works.
Council have secured funding from the Federal Government to construct Stage 1 Dry Fitness Zone. This includes extending the facility to include group fitness/multi-purpose spaces. A set budget of $500,000 has been earmarked for this development and its impeding implementation is a priority for Council.
Council is also seeking further design development of extension works proposed for the Robinvale Leisure Centre to support future funding opportunities. This includes detailed design and work specification documentation.
Due to the nature of these works and proposed future activities at the Swan Hill Leisure Centre, an opportunity also exists to review the overall layout features and provide new overarching conceptual plans for the Swan Hill facility.
Designs for Stage 1 needs to consider not only set allocation works budget of $500,00 but how it will integrate with other earmarked developments for the Swan Hill Leisure Centre including an additional fitness space to the west (Stage 2) and potential outdoor pool precinct.
