Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Byford Rail Extension (BRE) project proposes to extend the electrified passenger rail service from Armadale to Byford, including upgrades to Armadale station, construction of approximately 7.5km of new electrified dual track narrow gauge rail line, removal of level crossings and construction of a new station at Byford.

The project includes several grade-separated road crossings to maintain local connectivity and will be constructed within an existing rail corridor that is currently used by Australind rail services between Perth and Bunbury.
