Tender Description
Yarriambiack Shire Council invites suitably qualified contractors to undertake the Asbestos audit in all buildings owned and managed by the Council.
An abridged version of works the successful contractor will be required to undertake includes:-
- Conduct a visual inspection of the building listed in the supplied Building List, identify the accessible visible asbestos-containing material (ACM) and assess the condition of materials.
- Provide photographs of all ACM discovered during the inspection.
- Collate information, develop inspection finding report and provide an asbestos register for the building detailing each visual occurrence of ACM
- Provide a recommendation for each item detected.
- Provide a full Site Asbestos Register document.
- Supply and install a general awareness sign, referring to the register and recommend additional signage (if required) as a result of inspection findings.
- Develop hazard management recommendations from the findings of the inspection.
- Provide property specific Asbestos Register Awareness.
