Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The WFU (Project) will require an Environmental Representative (ER) to act on behalf of DPIE and fulfil set tasks as defined in the conditions of approval, which are likely to include responding to communication from the Planning Secretary relating to project performance, and monitoring, auditing and reporting on project compliance with the approved conditions of approval.

The Project is funded by the NSW Government and is being procured and delivered by TfNSW.

TfNSW is inviting suitably experienced and qualified organisations to participate in the tender process for the Project.

To successfully participate in the tender process for the Project, organisations and their nominated ER/s:

1. Must execute (to the satisfaction of TfNSW) the Confidentiality Deed Poll to receive the tender documents and must return to TfNSW via mdptenders@rms.nsw.gov.au by 11:00am (AEST) Friday 11th September 2020.

2.Must provide evidence/substantiation to meet the minimum requirements listed below along with an executed confidentiality deed poll.

3. Must have previously filled an Environmental Representative role required by a Planning Approval in NSW.

4. Must comply with the Environmental Representative Protocol (DPE, October 2018)

5. Must have higher tertiary education qualifications in science, environmental engineering, environmental management or an equivalent field.

6. Must have capacity to provide two Environmental Representatives (primary and alternate) for the duration of the project’s program; anticipated to conclude in 2026.

7. Must have formal audit training and experience in undertaking audits.
All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework), NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct (NSW Code) and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement (NSW Guidelines).
