ICT Cyber Security Partner

⁠⁠⁠The Scope

The role of the Cyber Security Partner (CSP) is to drive the delivery of the Cyber Security Phase 2 Program (“the Program”). The explicit objective of the Program is to uplift Western Power’s maturity against the Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF) domains and address existing operational risk. Additionally, the Program aims to improve existing process controls by providing advice on a variety of business as usual activities and program oversights. The Program will include several business process and technical improvement projects.

Western Power is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations who specialise in Cyber Security and have a strong delivery capability in Perth, who can:

• Provide referenceable experience and a proven track record in the successful delivery of Cyber Security Programs within Australia (ideally within the utilities industry).
• Take ownership of the Program objectives.
• Provide expertise relating to uplifting Western Power’s maturity against AESCSF domains (or equivalent frameworks). The required expertise includes (but is not limited to) the ability to:

                 Design and build new Cyber Security business controls (i.e. business process, procedures, policies and technology where                             required).

                 Integrate/deploy new technical Cyber Security controls to address risk and assist with integration planning.

                 Provide training and the execution of new process controls to address risk and lift maturity rating.

• Provide a flexible engagement model which allows for resource augmentation while focusing on and assisting to achieve required outcomes.
• Provide consistency and continuity of delivery through program governance, quality audits, and health checks.
• Commit to the provision of quality resources that can leverage the organisation (not just a labour hire firm).
